  1. Exercise

Exercise is important to living a healthy life. When exercise becomes routine, it can be very beneficial. As you increase your activity level and change the type of work-out that you do, your body gets stronger as well as better at handling stress hormones like cortisol levels for regulating blood sugar balance or adrenaline in response to physical threats. Exercise also increases self-esteem and helps with mental illness by releasing endorphins which are natural feel good chemicals released during aerobic workouts including running or walking on an incline treadmill – so get out there today!

  1. Eat Healthy

This is not a new concept, but it has been proven time and again that eating healthy can be difficult.

However, there are ways to make the process easier on yourself. One way is by preparing your meals ahead of time so you’re less likely to get stuck in unhealthy food choices when hunger sets in at work or school because all you have access too without having to leave for something else quick like fast-food restaurants with their 24 hour menus full of tempting options.

  1. Get enough sleep

Sleep is the single most important thing you can do to maintain your health. Without sleep, both our physical and emotional selves suffer tremendously.

Sleep helps us regulate hormones that influence moods like serotonin and dopamine (which are responsible for feelings of happiness). It also reduces chronic pain by relaxing tense muscles in joints while promoting healing from any injuries sustained during a day’s work or exercise routine. A lack of it will cause increased levels of cortisol which causes elevated blood pressure as well as suppressed immune system responses leading to more frequent colds – on average 5-10% increase chance per hour! If this isn’t enough motivation to get some shuteye already…

Our bodies need rest in order to function. People who are constantly sleep deprived experience a range of negative effects, including physical and mental fatigue, difficulty concentrating, irritability or edginess, anxiety over just about anything under the sun–including very small things like whether their favorite cereal will be at the grocery store tomorrow morning.

People all around us seem exhausted; maybe we should take our own advice on sufficient amounts of sleep?

  1. Drink lots of water

Drink lots of water to stay hydrated and cool down!

Water hydrates our bodies, but it also has a lot of other qualities that make it an excellent beverage. For example, did you know that drinking 8 glasses or more per day can reduce the risk for kidney stones? That’s just one reason why we should drink plenty of H2O every single day. Staying well-hydrated is important because otherwise you might get dehydrating heatstroke which could lead to death in extreme cases!

It’s important to stay hydrated, so make sure you drink lots of water throughout the day. This will keep your skin looking fresh and healthy!

  1. Meditate/Do Yoga

Studies have shown that meditation and yoga can help reduce stress levels.
I was so stressed out last week, I couldn’t even think straight! A few people at my job told me about how they do mediation in the mornings to clear their minds before work or go for a quick walk around the block after lunch break. So this weekend when you’re feeling overwhelmed by life’s responsibilities don’t forget meditating or doing some simple Yoga poses as ways of relieving your tension – it will make all those other little things seem less overwhelming too.

Meditation and yoga can both have physical benefits including reduced stress, improved sleep quality, lower blood pressure. They also promote mental well-being with meditation reducing anxiety levels while increasing self-compassion for those who are struggling to reduce their negative thought patterns or control the flow of thoughts in a more effective way. Yoga is known as an excellent form of exercise that strengthens muscles by working them through different angles such as balancing on one foot, holding poses similar to positions done during weight lifting exercises like squats or lunges which help spine health too! Plus it’s good for your mind and spirit too because some believe you’re doing what the ancient yogis did when they meditated under trees – centering yourself before moving into all aspects of life be

  1. Smile more often and be kind to people, even if it’s just a smile or saying hello to someone you don’t know well

One way to make your day better is by making other people’s days brighter. Whether it be a smile in passing, or just greeting someone with “hello,” you’ll not only feel good for helping others but the person will likely return the gesture and show appreciation

One of my favorite ways to brighten up anyone’s day is simply acknowledging them when I pass by–whether that means waving hello or giving an honest compliment. It can take so little time out of our busy schedules yet mean the world to many who may otherwise go unnoticed on any given weekday morning commute!

A little kindness goes such a long way in this world, so try starting with something as simple as sending out an extra text or greeting someone who looks sad on the street. If that’s not your thing, make sure to practice giving genuine smiles at least once per day because they can light up any person’s day instantly!
